LIMA PULSE 0 / 20 answered Pre-class

Day 1 · Code Blue Ready

Knowledge assessment

Twenty questions on cardiac arrest recognition, high-quality CPR, defibrillation, code team roles and post-ROSC care. You answer the same twenty items twice — once before the lecture and once after the simulations. The difference between the two scores is the outcome measure for Day 1.

How it works

Single best answer, no time limit, roughly eight minutes. In the PRE-class sitting you will not be shown the answers — that would spoil the lecture and the second sitting.

After the POST-class sitting you get the full answer key with explanations. Pass mark for the post-class attempt: 80% (16 / 20).

Any topic below 70% is where the debrief and the next unannounced mock code should concentrate.

Answer key below

Your answers are marked in the questions below, with the correct answer and an explanation for each. Work through the ones you missed before the skills stations.

Answers withheld

This was the pre-class sitting, so the answer key is not shown — it would give away the lecture and invalidate the post-class comparison. Everything here is covered in the next two hours.
